BIDDING RULES

PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION ALL THE WAY THROUGH BEFORE BIDDING!

We'd love to have you make a bid - make several bids, actually!  But - if you don't follow the rules and we are forced to delete your bid, then you'll be disappointed and say,
"... but I didn't know...", which will cause us to reply, "Didn't you read the rules?"   SO... please read the rules FIRST!
Just like a face-to-face auction, you will be able to see who has made a bid and how much the bid was for.  We encourage friendly competition!

Like many auctions, flea markets, yard sales, etc... we all want to get a "good deal".  Please remember that we are raising money for our rescue.  Keep in mind the minimum opening bids and a minimum increase of $10 for the next bid. 

HOW TO PLACE A BID
  1. Click on the "Comments" link below the picture
  2. Look for the LAST comment in the listing - that will be the highest bid thus far.
  3. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to look through the entire comment section to make sure that you saw the very last comment and that you are placing the highest bid at the correct increment - minimum bid increase is $10.
  4. In the comments box, enter the following information:
    1. Amount of your bid (US Dollars)
    2. Valid e-mail address (This WILL be seen by others. If you do not want others to see your email address, consider setting up another mailbox in your email account or a Hotmail account!)
  5. Be sure to include the information requested. Failure to do so will result in your bid not being accepted and we will move back to the person who bid before you.
  6. Once you've placed your bid, please log out of the auction and back in again to check the comments section to be sure your bid has posted AND that your bid is the highest! 
  7. It is your responsibility to check back often, as you may be outbid!  Unlike, e-bay, we will not be notifying folks when they have been outbid!

AFTER THE AUCTION
The auction closes on Saturday, December 5th at 5:00 pm, EST
We will notify the winners via e-mail (this is why we need your email address!)
You will have 24 hours to respond to the e-mail.  If we do not hear from you in 24 hours, we will move onto the 2nd highest bidder.  NO EXCEPTIONS!
